Annette is an Alaskan Native in long term recovery who has personal experience with harm reduction treatment. She currently works as a medication assisted treatment case manager for a tribal health clinic in rural Alaska and has worked there since October 2016. She provides education regarding medication assisted treatment, harm reduction, overdose prevention, mental health services, and substance user health care. Annette is also an active volunteer and outreach worker at the Homer Syringe Exchange/Megan’s Place, and a technical assistance provider on the drug user health team for NASTAD.
