Kim Ford is from The Bad River Band of Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians, WI and grew up in Milwaukee, WI. She is the Drug User Infectious Disease Prevention Coordinator for Bad River Harm Reduction. Prior to this, Kim worked as a Social Worker for Bad River Social and Family Services for 13 years. She has an associate degree in business management from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. Her work interests are harm reduction and learning more on ending stigma for Indigenous people. Outside of work, Kim enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her family.
